2026 - What's been happening so far????

G'day everyone.  Firstly let me apologise because I do a lot of my marketing via my Facebook page these days and tend to forget that people may be looking at the website, so sometimes I get a little behind here.  However, people will then say to me “you need to update your gig guide” and I'm firmly reminded that people do still end up here particularly if they are not in the social media domain.

Sooo….  It's been a very busy 2026 so far as usual.  I tend to always do my three local shows a week, and occasionally throw in some shows for aged care facilities during the week to help supplement my income but also I must confess I love playing for our senior citizens and bringing some joy to them when they have reached that stage of life.

There have been a few Neil Diamond shows over the first half of this year which have all sold very well and a great time has been had by all.

I will be heading to Rubyvale and Clermont in central Queensland for the weekend of 7th-9th August to deliver a Neil show and a Sunday afternoon show at the Rubyvale Hotel and a Saturday night dance show at the Leo Hotel in Clermont.  Can't wait to get back up there.

I've just confirmed I'll be heading over to Lord Howe Island between the 17th & 22nd September to deliver a couple of shows.  I was last on there performing around 15 years ago so will be great to head back.  That also gives you a bit of time to organise a holiday over there if you would like to combine a beautiful location with entertainment from yours truly.

I'm off to the snow next week for a little R&R.  When I went down last year I did a couple of shows in Jindabyne, but this year I've decided to just relax with Jacqui and have a little down time.

Any venues looking to book me - I have around 10 dates left available between now and the end of the year - which is a great thing for any entertainer to be able to say - so get in contact with me if you'd like to secure some dates.

I've been having a great time playing with my good mate Phil Moore on harmonica at a few select shows.  These are always fun and allow us to really delve into the acoustic blues/rootsy type of vibe that I'm looking to develop a bit more over the next year.

I'll try and keep my gig guide up to date - I promise - and if I need to update it please rouse on me via the contact page so I know the website is being utilised.

Thank you to all my venues and all my supporters who come along to the shows - it has been a bit tough out there in the entertainment and hospitality industries lately with the rising cost of living so we all really appreciate you still getting out there, enjoying what our industries have to offer and helping create a vibrant community atmosphere at our venues.

Come and say g'day at a show somewhere.  Cheers, Craig :)
